                Abstract

                This research is conducted to knowthe effectiveness of Vlog in increasing student’s speaking performance. Background of this research is the new phenomenon that is media Vlog which is loved by teenager and from that phenomenon the researcher wants to use that media to teaching speaking more interesting. The design used in this research is quasi experimental (single subject design). It was conducted in one class (single subject) that is tenth grade of MIA. The data used in this research is score of pretest and posttest from 2 raters. The data were analyzed by using excel 2010 and SPSS verse 20.0. The findings of the research indicated that using Vlog improve students’ speaking performance. It approved by the statistics outcomes which show that h1 is accepted, it means using Vlog is effective to increase students’ speaking performance, because the students were enjoying the learning process which close with their daily life.
