Skripsi.English Department Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Muhammadiyah University at Surabaya. Advisor I: Drs. Wijayadi, M.Pd., Advisor II: Drs. Farhan Noer, M.Pd. English has an important role in the world as an international language. English must be known by all people over the world because it is used in many fields of life. This study describes the songs that are used in teaching vocabulary and the implementation of teaching vocabulary using song to the students of preschool program at SDIT Alam Al Uswah ICP Bangil. Teacher English for young learner should make students enthusiastic in learning. The use of media is needed by the teacher, song is one of the appropriate media in teaching English especially vocabulary for young learner. This research designed as descriptive qualitative, the instrument used in this research were interview and observation. The observation was done on 23rd April 015. There are lot advantages of using song to teach English vocabulary to young learner. In general, it is conclude that teaching vocabulary through song make students learn faster and enjoy the lesson.
