        Abstract

        Introduction: having a blood glucose test is very important to determine the glucose level in the body. Overage blood glucose can lead do deabetes mellitus. Coffee was known as lower blood glucose levels dan reduces the risk of other diseases due to chlorogenic acid thet stimulates glucagon like pestide-1 (GLP). Before conducting the examination of research subject the body should fasted 8 until 10 hours. The aim of this study was to determine the difference in fasting blood glucose levels before andan after consuming coffe. Reseach conducted by the experimental design with one group pretest and postest design using capilarry blood samples from the students , many as 30 peoples.
