Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explain pump system design and to conduct pump on the public gas station which was carried out by PT. Karya Nugraha Konsultama Surabaya as a contractor of construction in gas stations JL. Simo pomahan surabaya. To maximize the results achieved, it was necessary to plan pump type and system. The installation of pumps and pipelines was a system of channelling production media, which consisted of pipes, fittings, valves, flanges and other components. The results of this study were to see the actual problems encountered and faced in a system of gas stations. The problems such as too much evaporation, fuel loss in pipes and tanks as well as the possibility of a small flow capacity due to too many hoses. The conclusion of this study was the pump system could be influenced by the over conducting in pump system, flow capacity, and fuel loss factor in the pipe.
