        Abstract

        The analysis of “The Effectiveness of IOC by Using Cue Card for Students’ Speaking Ability” is still difficult to find, the researcher formulates the statement of the research, Inside-Outside Circle method is effective for student’s speaking ability. The objective of the research is to find out whether the Inside-Outside Circle method can be effective for students’ speaking ability. This research uses experimental design. The subject is 7B grade as experimental group and 7C as a controlled group at SMP Muhammadiyah 11 Surabaya, this sample is taken by snowball sampling. The data collection uses test (pre-test and post-test) as instruments to measure the result of students. The results of the research will be counted using the T-test statistic with = 0.05. The result of the study is gotten that Tcount = 6.059 and Table is 2.007. It means that H0 push away and H1 is accepted. From the results, it can be summarized that the use of Inside-Outside Circle by using the cue card is effective for students’ speaking ability at seventh graders.
