Abstract

Premature membranes rupture is an important issue in obstetric related to premature birth and infection to sepsis because of unadvanced and longparturition. In January to May 2015 recorded 25 people who gave birth to premature membranes rupture indication at Muhammadiyah Hospital of Surabaya. The purpose of this study was able to perform nursing care with premature membranes rupture at Muhammadiyah Hospital Surabaya. This is a descriptive study with case study in the form of nursing processes which include: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Data was collected through interviews, observation, physical examination. A case study on the client with premature membranes rupture conducted at Muhammadiyah Hospital Surabaya from 7 to 10 May, 2015. Results of a case study on the client Mrs.E with premature membranes rupture found 4 nursing diagnosis; a high risk of infection associated with premature membranes rupture; Anxiety associated with the delivery process; Intolerance activity related to the occurrence of premature membranes rupture; Disruption of sleep patterns associated with the pain contractions of the uterus. That is why the assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation done. The conclusion of the study cases on Mrs.E with premature membranes rupture solved for the diagnosis of high risk of infection associated with premature membranes rupture, Anxiety associated with the birth process, intolerance activity associated with the occurrence of premature membranes rupture, and the disruption of sleep patterns associated with the pain contractions of the uterus can be solved by setting the time.= Keywords: Nursing, premature membranes rupture
