Abstract

In this study, the researcher analyzed the learning style used by students whose scores are A, B, and BC for vocabulary. The differences in mastering vocabulary are caused by the different styles in learning vocabulary. The researcher also analyzed how the students apply the learning style in the daily activity and what the reason behind the using of those styles is. To analyze these styles, the researcher used Brown theory to know the types of the learning style and Krashen theory for analyzing the way to obtain input in learning Second Language. In this study, the researcher used descriptive qualitative design, because this study describes, interprets and analyzes particular condition that exist during the process of research. All of the explanations are given by describing the theory,problem,analysis,and last expected result. From the analysis and discussion, the researcher found that student A, B and BC have different learning styles in-use. For student A, there are three learning styles that is used: visual, auditory and kinesthetic. On the other side, student B and BC used only two learning styles: visual and auditory.
