Abstract

This research aims to reveal Learning Management as well as the driving and inhibiting factors in the implementation of Yellow Book Learning at Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Vocational School. This is because learning at SMKS Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata combines the national education curriculum and the Islamic boarding school curriculum based on the Bible, because the school is under the auspices of an Islamic boarding school which requires every student to be able to master the Yellow Book. This condition requires schools to be innovative in planning learning to produce quality graduates. This research is qualitative research with a case study type. The informants in this research were school principals, teachers, students and graduates of Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Vocational School. Data collection was carried out using documentation, interviews and observation techniques. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data collection, data display, and drawing conclusions and verification. Checking the validity of the data is carried out using the techniques of trust, persistence and certainty. Meanwhile testing of credibility is carried out by triangulation. The research results show that the management of learning the yellow book at SMKS Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata can generally be said to be good. Supporting factors for the implementation of learning in schools are competent teaching staff, optimizing learning support facilities, allocating learning time and creating a learning environment with the arrangement of learning spaces. The inhibiting factor is the distribution of students' time when taking part in learning with their busy lives as students or the general public so that the yellow book learning process is less than optimal.
