Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore literacy education in the Sahih Muslim Book. This research is qualitative research with the type of library research, and the data analysis techniques use inductive and deductive. The findings of this research can be concluded: (1)The life of a Muslim imam is a life filled with learning, teaching and writing scientific papers. He migrated to various countries in search of hadith. Including to Hijaz, Iraq, Syria, Egypt and other countries. Until his death, he was busy teaching and studying science; (2) Imam Muslim has many written works. Among them are Sahih Muslim, al-Musnad al-Kabir, Asma' al-Rijal, Jami' al-Kabir 'Ala al-Abwab, al-'Ilal, Auham al-Muhadditsin, al-Tamyiz, Man Laisa Lahu illa Rawin Wahidin , Thabaqat al-Tabi'in, and al-Muhadramin; (3) This authentic book is the result of a life full of blessings, which was written wherever he was, whether in short or free time. He collected, memorized, filtered and wrote so that it became a very good and orderly authentic book. He and several of his students completed the compilation of the authentic book within fifteen years.
