Abstract
The aim of the study was to identify the use of shoot leaf lining (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L.) and the use of Normal Saline 0.9% in the length of incision wound healing in white rats (Rattus Norvegicus Wistar strains). Method
The experimental method is true experimental with descriptive approach with white rats (Rattus norvegicus strain Wistar) sample of 15 tails which made incision wound which is divided into three groups,
namely treatment group (Limbatan leaf shoe leaf (Hibiscus
rosa-sinensis L.), (Normal Salon 0,9%) and control group
(without treatment) Wound care done every day and evaluated
until the wound healed The research was done at Laboratory
of University Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta The collected data
were analyze d using percentage statistic formula.
The results showed that the average of incision wound healing in Limbatan leaf shoe group (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L.) was 4.2 days and group of Salon Salon 0.9% 5.2 days. While in the control group (without treatment)
7.2 days. Conclusion Leaves of the shoe flower (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L.) contain flavonoids and saponins act as antibacterial and affect the proliferative phase, so it is advisable to use the shoe leaf lining (Hibiscus rosa
-sinensis L.) in providing wound care.
