The total population is 30 respondents with a purposive sampling technique Results:. The results of the research analysis showed that there was a relationship between the age factor and the incidence of VAP with a Pearson Chi-Square Asymptotic Significance (2-sided) value of 0.001. There is a relationship between oral hygiene factors and the incidence of VAP with a Pearson Chi-Square Asymptotic Significance (2-sided) value of 0.02. 0.015. There is no relationship between co-morbid factors and the incidence of VAP with a Pearson Chi-Square Asymptotic Significance (2-sided) of 0.554.
