Abstract

PENERAPAN MODEL Problem Based Instruction (PBI) PADA PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI DALAM MELATIH KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS SISWA DI MTs AL-FALAH BULUH DAKIRING BANGKALAN Musarofah1), Wiwi Wikanta2), dan Yuni Gayatri3). 1)Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi, FKIP UMSurabaya 2)Dosen Jurusan Biologi FKIP UMSurabaya 3)Dosen Jurusan Biologi FKIP UMSurabaya Email: Syafa_anggraini@yahoo.com Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model Problem Based Instruction (PBI) pada pembelajaran biologi dalam melatih keterampilan proses sains di MTs Al-falah Buluh Dakiring.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode action research dengan mengambil desain PTK. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, dimana masing-masing siklus terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu tahap perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIA di MTs Al-falah Buluh Dakiring. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode prosentase. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi dan angket. Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa antara nilai keterampilan proses sains siklus I dan siklus II terdapat peningkatan. Pada siklus I keterampilan proses sains siswa sebesar 73,2%, sedangkan pada siklus II sebesar 91,4%. Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model PBI terlaksana dengan baik dalam KBM. Pada siklus I terlaksana dengan skor rata-rata 3,2 (Baik) dan pada siklus II dengan skor rata-rata 3,9. Respon siswa terhadap KBM, perangkat, dan tingkat kemudahan berlatih keterampilan proses sains menunjukkan respon yang positif. Jadi Penerapan PBI Pada Pembelajaran Biologi dapat Melatih Keterampilan Proses Sains Siswa di MTs Al-Falah Buluh Dakiring Bangkalan Kata kunci: Model PBI, Keterampilan Proses Sains, Pembelajaran Biologi, MTs Al-Falah Buluh Dakiring Bangkalan. Abstract This study aims to determine the application of the model of Problem Based Instruction (PBI) on the biology of learning science process skills training at MTs Al-Falah Reed Dakiring.Penelitian using action research method by taking the design of PTK. This study was conducted in two cycles, where each cycle consists of four stages, namely the stage of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjects were students in the junior class VIIa Al-Falah Reed Dakiring. Data were analyzed with descriptive qualitative method percentage. Data collection using observation and questionnaires. From the results of this study showed that the value of science process skills first cycle and second cycle there is an increase. In the first cycle science process skills of students by 73.2%, while in the second cycle of 91.4%. Learning to use the PBI models performing well in teaching. In the first cycle is accomplished with an average score of 3.2 (Good) and the second cycle with an average score of 3.9. Students' response to teaching and learning, the device, and the level of ease of practicing science process skills showed a positive response.
