Abstract
Indonesian football community have own register in describing the game, supporter, and the club. For them, It is giving another sense compared with other words that have same meaning. Some related literatures are used in this research as the guideline in analyzing the data. Without the endorsement from the opinion from those literatures, this research means nothing for everyone. The descriptive qualitative is used in this research. The result shows only the description of the phenomenon. It means that the analysis is describing the phenomenon found during the process of the study about a month. The data is taken from Youtube and news channel on internet. The result of the data is some registers used in Indonesian football community related to supporter like Bonek, Laskar Wong Kito, some registers related to the club like Juku Eja, Mutiara Hitam, and some registers related to the game itself like Titik Putih, Turun Minum and Pluit Panjang. Besides, there are some reasons that make Indonesian football community use these words in their communication. From the result of the research, it can be concluded that there are some registers used by Indonesian football community in their communication. The use of these words are desired by some reasons include their cultural background. Key words: register, Indonesian football community
