Abstract
Keywords: Speech Acts, Locution, Illocution, and Contextual Situation. This research is analyzing speech acts from Anas Urbaningrum’s Speeches are based on his contextual situation. And this research uses qualitative approach from Creswell theory and Lincoln and Guba in Rosida to analyze the topic. Thus, the finding, this research had found out two kinds of speech acts used in contextual situation on Anas Urbaningrum’s Speeches, they are: 10 locutionary acts and 10 illocutionary acts. While perlocutionary acts can be found in Anas Urbaningrum’s Speeches, because the data is taken not an interview, dialogue and conversation but in forming documentation and also no responses from from the journalist, KPK, and Sby as the hearers. And while the classification of speech acts, this research is found out 1 Representative, 2 Expressives, 5 Directives, 1 Commissive, 1 Declarative, that’s all are based contextual situation. Thus, the uses of speech acts are contextual situation on Anas Urbaningrum’s Speeches, this research is found out 2 Declaratives, 5 Imperatives, 2 Exclamatives, and 1 Interrogative, most of them are imperative.
