Abstract

This research analysis, how the Indonesian dialect used by Chinese ‘Peranakan’ at Kapasan. The research paper taking location in Kapasan, because the most Chinese society and their descendants in over there. The purpose of the research is the language variety of Hokkian and Mandarin which involved in their dialect and related the context such as Power and Solidarity. And the technique collecting the data are observation the object analysis, interview the informant, recording with the Instrument like handphone, transcribing the sentence followed by informant and the last is selecting the data followed by informant. The result of the analyze include,the first is the utterance in their daily conversation which it has variety such as Hokkien and Mandarin with morphology Javanese in their Indonesian language, the second is how do they use in the context solidarity and Power for example with their subordinate and among themselves within same of races or different races. And the research of the conclude that the most variety language in Indonesian dialect used by Chinese ‘Peranakan’ is Hokkien. because the most Chinese society who first immigrant in Indonesia or it is called Chinese ‘Totok’ especially in East Java that they come from some region in China such as Ghek, Kwangtung, Hakka, Hainan, etc. And this research tries to analize Indonesian dialect which variety Mandarin and Hokkien.
