Abstract
ABSTRAK
Kegiatan pembelajaran IPA pada umumnya hanya dilakukan dengan ceramah dan pemberian tugas berupa soal latihan kepada siswa, sehingga kegiatan pembelajaran IPA tidak berjalan dengan maksimal dan siswa menjadi kurang aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran yang diduga berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe course review horay terhadap motivasi belajar siswa Mata Pelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar. Rancangan penelitian ini jenis kuasi eksperimen dengan non equivalent pretest– posttest design. Data dikumpulkan dengan instrument kuesioner dan dianalisa dengan uji paired t test. Hasil uji paired t test menunjukkan bahwa nilai ρ kedua kelompok = 0,000, dengan α = 0,05. Hasil ini menunjukkan nilai ρ < α berarti ada pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Course Review Horray terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA. Menurut nilai thitung menunjukkan nilai thitung kelompok eksperimen = 8,074 dan nilai thitung kelompok kontrol = 5,037, pada tabel diatas didapatkan nilai df = 29 maka nilai ttabel dengan df = 29 dan α = 0,05 adalah 1.699. Hal ini menunjukkan nilai thitung kedua kelompok lebih besar dari nilai ttabel sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima berarti dapat dikatakan ada pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Course Review Horay terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA. Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Course Review Horay (CRH) yang diterapkan pada kelas eksperimen memiliki pengaruh motivasi yang berbeda dibanding model pembelajaran konvensional yang diterapkan pada kelas kontrol. Pengaruh motivasi belajar terlihat dari hasil pretest dan posttest yang diisi oleh siswa. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan sebesar 37,6% model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Course Review Horay terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar.
