Abstract
Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is progressive and irreversible illness in kidney function. The prevalence has 4.828 people of kidney failure in East Java according to Indonesian Renal Registry data in 2017 higher in men (0,3%) than women (0,2%). Creatinine examination is a parameter to determine kidney function disorder. One of the factors that affect creatinine levels is source of drinking water. 90% of locals use well water for drinking. Some people drink unboiled well water and some more people drink boiled well water. The goal of this research was to find out the comparison of creatinine levels between unboiled well water consumer with boiled well water consumer. The type of research used analytical observational research. The villagers of Dusun Laccaran, Palengaan Village, Pamekasan Madura, who drank well water aged between 20-55 years old were the subjects of this study. The samples were gathered up to 15 people who drank unboiled well water and 15 people who drank boiled well water utilizing creatinine examination. The result was no significant difference in creatinine levels between consumer of unboiled well water and consumer of boiled well water.
