Abstract
Politics is an effort taken by citizens to realize the common good. That was done by Prabowo Subianto as a presidential candidate for the republic of Indonesia in the period 2019 - 2024. A presidential candidate must often make a speech in front of the general public to explain his vision and mission and also to seek support so that the community elects him during the general election. That was also what Prabowo Subianto had done during his visit to Boyolali in order to inaugurate the Prabowo - Sandi winning office. In this study the author focused on Prabowo Subianto's speech in Boyolali on 30 October 2018, but then his speech became a problem because it was considered to have offended and abused the citizens of Boyolali. In this study there are three points that must be answered, namely: 1) What are the language features of Prabowo's speech in his presidential Campaign in Boyolali; 2) How is the social implication of Prabowo speech? ; 3) How are power and ideology represented in Prabowo speech. In this study using Qualitative research because the data is speech text. The results of this study will show how Prabowo uses language features, how then social implications that occur after the speech, and how Prabowo can have advanced power and ideology as candidates for president of the republic of Indonesia in 2019-2024.
