Abstract
Key words : Message surah Ar-rahman, Semantics, Meaning. In the modern communication is needed to exchanging and relations to create good communication , recently communications are often considered trivial by a couple of circles are therefore urgently needed about the synergy order to make communication work well because English is a medium of communication that connects one person to others, by learning a language means we have tried to open a kinships that can strengthen the relationship each other, one mistake interpreting a language or communication is likely to cause these phenomena extremely tickled us later in everyday life, it is very important for us to know meaning of language that is communicated, so to minimizing misunderstandings that might occur, so it is important to understand the significance of getting a successful interactions between both explicit and implicit meaning of a word The researcher tries and attempts to analyze the meaning of the translation of surah ar- rahman in semantics, the authors know this may not be true and become guidelines because truth comes only God, but by studying the meaning particularly semantics of these chapters are expected we can find out a little and tries to be someone who is always good from day-to- day, so that author just limit the wearing several theories focused on Lexical meaning, Sentential and Discoursal. Lexical meaning not only deal with the obvious or literal meaning but also with denotation, connotation, synonyms, antonyms, ambiguity, polisemy, hyponymy, homophony, and homonymy, . Sentential meaning can be defined as a group of words that make a statement, command, or a burning question, and usually contains a subject and a predicate, and in writing begins with a capital letter and end mark (,!.,?). Meanwhile, discoursal meaning is a term used in linguistics to refer to a continuous stretch of language larger than the sentence dealt with the discussion, other than the authors try to find a message that is contained in a letter ar-rahman includes moral message, the message of religion and social, that can benefit us all especially writers.
