Abstract
Sunday School Programs is an extra-curricular activity with what they call (SSP). In this SSP there are several activities offered and one of them is communicating in English. SSP aimed sent the student for student exchange and culture exchange in Malaysia and Singapore. SSP different material and place for intra-curricular in SMP Muhammadiyah 2 at Surabaya. Because SSP is an extra-curricular in SMP Muhammadiyah 2 at Surabaya only on Sunday and intra-curricular active from Monday until Saturday. Moreover, SSP there is no curriculum for doing activities. But, SSP have a programs plan.This study aims to describe about activity in SSP. The method of this study is descriptive qualitative. This kind of the text can be related the student for broadening horizons – both national and international as communication in other countries. Then, developing language skills as language function for student exchange. The result of this study will be present about activity in SSP and SSP focused with two activity such as broadening horizons – both national and international and developing language skills.
