Abstract
This research uses qualitative method, because the data in the form of word, phareses, abbreviations and conversation. The data collected in this study with data collection techniques to be applied in several ways, among which is the observation in the field, recording the results of the dialogue, listen and take note all about registers. Researcher has the record, listen and gather necessary information in accordance with data researchers needed. From the data analysis, the writer concludes essential points are health workers in Anwar medika hospital more often use the consultative and Intimate register. Based on the context of the conversation between the doctors, nurses or midwives and medical personnel of the profession who are in accident and emergency department (IGD) Anwar Medika hospital, that there is the use of the term registers, especially in the work every day. There are classes of words, phrases, and abbreviations the establishment of terms of words, phrases, abbreviations and acronyms abbreviation form is usually used as functions for fellow profession easily established quickly, maintain the confidentiality or privacy disease patients from other people and strange then the identity of workers.
