Indicators of economic success of a region one of which is economic growth. Economic growth is meaningless if not accompanied by an increase in the welfare of society, whether in education, health, and purchasing power. Accumulation of capital is very important in encouraging economic growth of
four districts on the island of Madura (Bangkalan, Sampang, Pamekasan, Sumenep). Private investment and government investment has a multiplier effect on economic growth, employment and national income. National income can be evaluated from three aspects, namely production, income and
expenditure. National income can be affected by consumption, investment, government spending and net exports. The potential of natural, cultural community, the readiness of the bureaucracy, labor quality, investment climate affect economic growth and prosperity. This study tries to analyze the
profile of the realization of private investment, natural resources, the realization of government investment, economic growth and human development index from 2002 - to 2006 in four districts on the island of Madura as preliminary research that can be followed up by subsequent researchers a more detailed and can be tested quantitatively the link betweenvariables.
