Holistic nursing service performance is not well-implemented. The results of the survey at Siti Khodijah Hospital in June 2014 showed that 80% of nursing care mainly focused on biological services. Improving performance through organizational activities has been carried out. However, the application of the model strategy Faster Learning Organization (FLO) in healthcare organizations has never implemented yet. The purpose of this study is to develop implementation strategies for enhancing FLO model of holistic nursing care. This study used a quasi-experiment method with non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The population was all nurses and patients in Grade 3 Siti Khodijah Sepanjang Hospital and Aisyiyah Bojonegoro Hospital. The sampling technique used was total sampling for nurses and consecutive sampling for patients. Data were collected through focus group discussions and questionnaires. The results of Manacova analysis showed that the implementation of the strategy FLO model significantly increases the skills of nurses (openness to learning p = 0.01; the challenge of change p = 0.01; stimulating leadership p = 0.00), while the implementation of holistic nursing influences on patient self-care (built trust p = 0.01; promoting positive orientation p = 0.02; promoting perceived control p = 0.01; promoting strengths p = 0.05 and mutual goal setting p = 0.05). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the integration strategies of the FLO model in transform strategy group and the role of holistic care nurses can improve the holistic nursing care and patient self-care. Furthermore, this study produces a model that describes the relationship between the construction of a model strategy FLO, holistic nursing care practice, and patients self-care. Recommendation for future research is the model FLO Strategy can be conducted in the hospital with different characteristics and big samples size.
