Abstract
Key words: Code Switching, Code Mixing The topic of this paper is the research is the speech Javanese preachers who are speak Javanese beside Indonesian language. So, there are languages commonly used by preachers: Arabic, Indonesian and Javanese. To convey Islamic moral value in java. Especially at Mojokerto, the preachers in Khutbah Jum’ah at Masjid Miftahul Jannah Mojokerto. Commonly used code switching and code mixing to get the best result in influencing people for doing better deeds that are suitable with Islamic moral values. By making code switching using Javanese, Arabic and Indonesian. It can be easier for preachers to make the people (listeners), especially the old people who can not fully speak Indonesian well, and the young people who can not fully speak Javanese well. it was used descriptive Qualitative in this study because the research is planed for qualitative research with natural background. it has to fully understood the phenomenon and is directly involved as the data collector. It can be said that descriptive qualitative method is the kind of method that is used to descriptive natural phenomena such as code switching and code mixing occurrence made by religious preachers as revealed in their religious preachers. The preachers in Khutbah Jum’ah at Masjid Miftahul Jannah often used code switching and code mixing. Which are concluded that code switching and code mixing occurred when preachers switched and mixed his language, Here. To analisys code switching and code mixing in Metaphorical and situational, it is also analisys about situational code that usually done by the preachers in Khutbah Jum’ah and code mixing in the form of the word and phrase. In Khutbah Jum’ah at Masjid Miftahul Jannah Mojokerto. The reason why the preachers in Khutbah Jum’ah at Masjid Miftahul Jannah Mojokerto” did code switching and code mixing in other language are: making an easier understanding, showing the preacher’s ability, being more informative and having lack of appropriate word in Indonesian.
