Abstract
The topic of this research is words which used by employees who speak English besides Indonesian language. So there are two or more languages commonly used by workers. They are English and, Indonesian. It can be easier for employees to communicate, especially the employees who have high educated, so that the other employees will follow them to use English words. In this research the writer wants: (1) to identify the form code switching and code mixing that often takes place at PT.SINDOREKSA ABADIMAKMUR BY WORKERS. (2) To find out the reasons why the workers use code switching and code mixing at PT.SINDOREKSA ABADIMAKMUR. The paper use descriptive qualitative in this study caused this research is planned for qualitative research with natural background. The researcher will fully understand the phenomenon directly insist the data collector. It can be said that descriptive qualitative method is used to describe natural phenomenon such as code switching and code mixing which made by the employees in their talk with another. This research has four techniques to collect the data: recording, identifying, classifying, and analyzing. The employees at PT. SINDOREKSA ABADIMAKMMUR often use code switching and code mixing. The code switching and code mixing in the form of word were: Indonesian-English, English-Indonesian. The reasons why the employees of PT. SINDOREKSA ABADIMAKMUR did code switching and code mixing in other languages are: making easier to understanding, showing the employees ability and give more information.
