Abstract
ABSTRACT This research aims to determine the extent to which Big Data can influence financial performance in the world of industry, both directly and mediated by competitive advantage. This research uses secondary data on financial institutions listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, totaling 23 institutions. Data is processed using robust regression with the Least Time Square (LTS) estimator. The results of hypothesis testing in model 1 show a p-value of 0.002295 and 0.00736. This value is <0.05. Model 2 shows a p-value of < 2.2 and < 2.2, where the value is < 0.05. Based on the values of the two models, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive influence between Big Data and financial performance, both directly and mediated by competitive advantage. Company's ability to manage big data can increase the company's competitive advantage which then has an impact on increasing the company's financial performance. The banking industry's ability to use big data tools (Big Data) has an impact on increasing capabilities in terms of early detection of banking crimes, credit risk management, and marketing-related activities. Keywords: Big Data, Competitive Advantage, Financial Performance
