Abstract

This study aims to analyze the issues of post-colonial identities in women characters through Crazy Rich Asians novel. The researcher used theory of Post-Colonial Identities to analyze the issues in the novel, namely mimicry, ambivalence, hybridity. The researcher used a qualitative descriptive method to analyze this novel. From the analysis that has been done, the researchers found that in the Crazy Rich Asians novel shows Rachel Chu and Goh Peik Lin as female characters from Asia whose identities are affected by Western culture as a result of the post-colonial era and the environment in which they live, that can be seen from their appearance, the way of thinking, culture, language, behavior, habits, etc.
