Abstract

The aims of this study was (1) to classify the language attitude towards Indonesian Language. (2) to investigate the aspect of language attitude toward Indonesian language in terms are behavioral, cognitive, and affective aspects. There are 28 of Thai students who were studying at Muhammadiyah of Surabaya. This research used qualitative research is means for exploring and understanding the meaning individuals or groups describe to a social or human problem. Based on the mean score the cognitive aspect was reached (3.62), affective aspect was (3.54) and behavioral aspect (3.42). In conclusion, Those Thai students had a positive cognitive attitude and also showed the positive of affective aspect. Besides, behavioral neutral attitude towards Indonesian language.
