Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the implementation of the listening comprehension teaching process at SMK Dr. Soetomo Surabaya using the Spotify application as a learning medium and then to find out student responses to the use of the Spotify application at SMK Dr. Soetomo Surabaya in class 11 Multimedia 2. The researcher used four instruments in this study: observation, questionnaire, interview, and documentation. The qualitative method was used by the researcher, who analyzed descriptive data. The results show that students are interested when the teacher uses the Spotify application as part of the teaching and learning process, and students respond positively to the use of the Spotify application. The results of the analysis show the implementation of the Spotify application by the teacher in the process of teaching listening comprehension.
