Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan media kincir angin numerasi dalam pembelajaran matematika siswa kelas 2 sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas 2, guru kelas 2, dan kepala sekolah SDN Sidotopo IV Surabaya. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner terbuka. Analisis penggunaan media kincir angin numerasi ditinjau berdasarkan beberapa indikator, yaitu relevansi, kemampuan guru, kemudahan penggunaan, ketrsediaan, dan kebermanfaatan media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media kincir angin numerasi relevan dengan materi berhitung dan sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa kelas rendah. Guru mampu menggunakan media dengan baik dan media mudah dioperasikan oleh siswa. Ketersesdiaan media dinilai mencukupi serta penggunaannya memberikan manfaat dalam meningkatkan minat, antusiasme, dan pemahaman siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika. Dengan demikian, media kincir angin numerasi dinilai layak digunakan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran matematika di kelas rendah.

This study aimed to analyze mathemetics learning using numeracy windmill media for second-grade elementary school students. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects were second-grade students, second-grade teachers, and the principal of SDN Sidotopo IV Surabaya. The data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and open-ended questionnaires. Analysis of numeracy windmill media was reviewed based on several indicators: relevance, teacher ability, ease of use, availability, and usefulness of the media. The results showed that the numeracy windmill media was relevant to the arithmetic material and suited the characteristics of lower-grade students. Teachers were able to use the media well and it was easy for students to operate. The availability of media was considered sufficient and its use provided benefits in increasing students' interest, enthusiasm, and understanding of mathematics learning. Thus, the numeracy windmill media was considered suitable for use as an alternative mathematics learning media in lower-grade students.
