Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pendekatan Deep Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPAS sekolah dasar. Kondisi pembelajaran yang berfokus pada metode ceramah, membuat kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam memahami pembelajaran IPAS belum berkembang secara optimal, sehingga menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh peserta didik kelas VI-A dan VI-B yang berjumlah 60 peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif sebagai metode dari desain eksperimen semu dengan model Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Alat ukur penelitian yang diterapkan adalah pre-tes dan post-test berbentuk soal pilihan ganda yang sudah dilakukan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Analisis data dilakukan melalui beberapa pengujian, termasuk uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, serta uji Independent sample T-Test dengan dukungan SPSS versi 25. Data yang dikumpulkan menunjukkan bahwa uji t menghasilkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,001 < 0,05, sehingga Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak dengan menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan deep learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPAS di kelas VI SD Negeri Laden 1 Pamekasan.

This study aims to determine the effect of the Deep Learning approach on students' critical thinking skills in elementary school science education. The learning conditions, which focus on the lecture method, have prevented students' critical thinking skills in understanding IPAS learning from developing optimally, which became the background for this study. The research population included all 60 students in classes VI-A and VI- B. This study used a quantitative descriptive approach as a method of quasi-experimental design with a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design model. The research instruments used were pre-tests and post-tests in the form of multiple-choice questions that had undergone validity and reliability tests. Data analysis was carried out through several tests, including normality tests, homogeneity tests, and independent sample T- tests using SPSS version 25. The collected data showed that the t-test produced a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.001 < 0.05, so Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected, indicating that the deep learning approach had an effect on students' critical thinking skills in IPAS learning in grade VI at SD Negeri Laden 1 Pamekasan.
