Abstract
Latar belakang: Ujian Student Oral Case Analysis (SOCA) merupakan model evaluasi berbasis lisan dalam pendidikan kedokteran yang diterapkan di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya sejak tahun 2023. Ujian ini bertujuan menilai kemampuan pemahaman klinis, berpikir kritis dan sistematis, serta keterampilan komunikasi mahasiswa. Mengingat peran penting ujian SOCA dalam penilaian, sehingga tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap ujian SOCA. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed methods dengan kombinasi kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 174 mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran yang telah mengikuti ujian SOCA diambil dengan metode stratified random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner berbasis model SERVQUAL yang mencakup lima dimensi, yaitu tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, dan empathy. Analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 25. Hasil: Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dimensi responsiveness memperoleh skor rata- rata tertinggi (mean = 3,46), disusul tangibles (mean = 3,44), reliability (mean = 3,41), assurance (mean = 3,35), dan empathy yang merupakan dimensi dengan skor terendah (mean = 3,32). Secara umum, mahasiswa merasa puas terhadap pelaksanaan ujian SOCA. Kesimpulan: Tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap ujian SOCA berada pada kategori baik di seluruh dimensi SERVQUAL. Diperlukan perbikan pada aspek empati dan objektivitas evaluasi guna meningkatkan mutu pelaksanaan ujian SOCA secara menyeluruh.

Background: The Student Oral Case Analysis (SOCA) exam is an oral-based evaluation model in medical education that has been implemented at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya since 2023. This exam aims to assess students' clinical understanding, critical and systematic thinking, and communication skills. Considering the important role of the SOCA exam in assessment; therefore, the objective of this study is to analyze the level of student satisfaction with the SOCA exam. Methods: This study used a mixed methods approach with a combination of quantitative and qualitative. The study sample consisted of 174 students of the Faculty of Medicine who had taken the SOCA exam, recruited using the stratified random sampling method. Data were collected through a questionnaire based on the SERVQUAL model which includes five dimensions, namely tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The analysis was conducted descriptively using SPSS software version 25. Results: The findings of this study showed that the responsiveness dimension obtained the highest average score (mean = 3.46), followed by tangibles (mean = 3.44), reliability (mean = 3.41), assurance (mean = 3.35), and empathy which is the dimension with the lowest score (mean = 3.32). In general, students were satisfied with the implementation of the SOCA exam. Conclusion: The level of student satisfaction with the SOCA exam is in the good category in all SERVQUAL dimensions. Improvements are needed in the aspects of empathy and objectivity of evaluation to improve the overall quality of the SOCA exam implementation.
