Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran literasi terhadap kemampuan berbicara peserta didik kelas III di SD Dapena Surabaya dengan indikator kemampuan berbicara yaitu kelancaran, lafal, intonasi, kosakata, dan pemahaman peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data triangulasi antara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi didukung oleh angket untuk mengetahui perkembangan kemampuan berbicara peserta didik kelas III dan menggunakan teknik analisis data Miles and Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran literasi berdampak positif terhadap perkembangan kemampuan berbicara peserta didik dengan cukup besar sehingga penelitian ini menunjukkan pembelajaran literasi perlu dilaksanakan secara terstruktur dan berkelanjutan guna meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara peserta didik secara optimal.

This study aimed to describe the implementation of literacy learning on the speaking ability of grade III students at Dapena Elementary School, Surabaya. The speaking ability indicators include: fluency, pronunciation, intonation, vocabulary, and comprehension. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method with triangulated data collection. Observation, interviews, and documentation were supported by questionnaires to determine the development of grade III students’ speaking ability under Miles and Huberman’s data analysis techniques. The research results showed that literacy learning has a significant positive impact on the development of students’ speaking skills. This study suggested that literacy learning should be implemented in a structured and sustainable manner to optimally improve students’ speaking skills.
