Abstract

Rumah sakit dituntut meningkatkan efisiensi, mutu, dan keselamatan pasien melalui transformasi digital, di mana Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit (SIMRS) menjadi komponen penting dalam mendukung proses pelayanan. Namun, implementasi SIMRS masih menghadapi kendala seperti keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, ketidakkonsistenan prosedur, serta dukungan infrastruktur yang belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas SIMRS berdasarkan Information System Success Model DeLone dan McLean, serta menguji pengaruhnya terhadap optimalisasi manajemen operasional yang mencakup sumber daya manusia, metode kerja, teknologi dan infrastruktur, data dan sarana pendukung, pendanaan, dan lingkungan organisasi.
Penelitian menggunakan desain embedded mixed methods dengan pendekatan kuantitatif sebagai dominan dan kualitatif sebagai pendukung. Data kuantitatif dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner Likert kepada 170 responden menggunakan proportionate stratified random sampling, sedangkan data kualitatif diperoleh dari wawancara semi terstruktur dengan lima informan kunci. Analisis statistik meliputi uji korelasi Spearman Rank dan regresi linear berganda, sedangkan data kualitatif dianalisis menggunakan open axial thematic coding.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas SIMRS berada pada kategori tinggi. Uji Spearman Rank menunjukkan hubungan positif dan signifikan antara seluruh dimensi DeLone dan McLean dengan faktor manajemen operasional (r = 0,541–0,703; p < 0,05). Analisis regresi linear berganda menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas SIMRS berpengaruh signifikan secara simultan terhadap strategi optimalisasi manajemen operasional dengan nilai R² = 0,553 (p < 0,001). Secara parsial, lima dari enam dimensi SIMRS System Quality, Information Quality, Service Quality, Use, dan User Satisfaction berpengaruh signifikan terhadap manajemen operasional.

Hospitals are increasingly required to improve efficiency, quality, and patient safety through digital transformation, with the Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) serving as a vital component that supports core service processes. Despite its strategic role, SIMRS implementation continues to encounter various challenges, including limited human resources, inconsistent operational procedures, and suboptimal technological infrastructure. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of SIMRS using the DeLone and McLean Information System Success Model and to examine its influence on the optimization of operational management, encompassing human resources, work methods, technology and infrastructure, data and supporting facilities, funding, and organizational environment.
An embedded mixed-methods design was employed, with quantitative analysis as the primary strand and qualitative inquiry as the complementary component. Quantitative data were collected using Likert-scale questionnaires administered to 170 respondents through proportionate stratified random sampling, while qualitative insights were gathered from semi-structured interviews with five key informants. Statistical analyses included Spearman Rank correlation and multiple linear regression, whereas qualitative data were analyzed through open–axial thematic coding.
The findings indicate that SIMRS effectiveness is categorized as high. Spearman Rank analysis reveals positive and significant relationships between all DeLone and McLean dimensions and operational management factors (r = 0.541–0.703; p < 0.05). Multiple linear regression demonstrates that SIMRS effectiveness significantly and simultaneously influences operational management optimization strategies, with an R² of 0.553 (p < 0.001). Furthermore, five out of six SIMRS dimensions System Quality, Information Quality, Service Quality, Use, and User Satisfaction exert significant partial effects on operational management.
