Abstract
Stres pada remaja sering kali muncul akibat tekanan akademik dan lingkungan sekolah, yang dapat mengganggu kesehatan mental jika tidak dikelola dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi hubungan antara rutinitas membaca Al-Quran secara teratur dengan tingkat stres pada siswa SMA Muhammadiyah 07 Surabaya. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional, melibatkan 73 siswa kelas XI dan XII yang dipilih melalui simple random sampling. Data rutinitas membaca Al-Quran dikumpul via grup WhatsApp berdasarkan frekuensi mingguan (jarang: 0-2 hari, sering: 3-5 hari, rutin: 6-7 hari), sementara tingkat stres diukur menggunakan kuesioner Perceived Stress Questionnaire (PSQ) dengan kategori rendah, sedang, dan tinggi. Analisis bivariat dilakukan dengan uji korelasi Spearman menggunakan SPSS 25.0.
Hasil menunjukkan mayoritas siswa (43,8%) memiliki rutinitas membaca Al-Quran sering, diikuti rutin (39,7%) dan jarang (16,4%). Tingkat stres dominan pada kategori sedang (65,8%), rendah (31,5%), dan tinggi (2,7%). Tabulasi silang mengindikasikan kecenderungan siswa rutin membaca memiliki stres lebih rendah, tanpa kasus stres tinggi di kelompok tersebut. Namun, uji Spearman menghasilkan koefisien korelasi -0,221 dengan p-value 0,060 (>0,05), menyimpulkan tidak ada hubungan signifikan secara statistik antara rutinitas membaca Al-Quran dan tingkat stres.
Kesimpulan penelitian menegaskan bahwa meski tidak bermakna statistik, arah korelasi negatif mendukung potensi manfaat membaca Al-Quran sebagai intervensi non-farmakologis pendukung pengelolaan stres remaja. Saran mencakup penelitian lanjutan yang memasukkan durasi bacaan dan faktor confounding seperti beban belajar.

The study concludes that although not statistically significant, the negative correlation direction supports the potential of Quran reading as a supportive non-pharmacological intervention for adolescent stress management. Recommendations include future research incorporating reading duration and confounding factors like academic load.
