Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah tingginya paparan kebisingan lingkungan yang berpotensi menimbulkan stres fisiologis dan gangguan pada sistem kardiovaskular. Paparan kebisingan dengan intensitas tinggi dapat meningkatkan beban kerja jantung sehingga menyebabkan kerusakan sel miokard yang ditandai dengan peningkatan kadar Creatine Kinase-Myocardial Band (CK-MB). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan kadar CK-MB pada Rattus norvegicus yang terpapar kebisingan suara dan yang tidak terpapar kebisingan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain true experimental menggunakan rancangan post test only control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 16 ekor Rattus norvegicus jantan yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol. Kelompok perlakuan diberikan paparan kebisingan ≥85 dB selama 3 jam per hari selama 5 hari berturut-turut, sedangkan kelompok kontrol tidak diberikan paparan kebisingan. Pemeriksaan kadar CK-MB dilakukan menggunakan alat TMS 50i Superior. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk dan Independent Samples t-tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kadar CK-MB pada kelompok perlakuan sebesar 651,25 U/L, sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol sebesar 357,75 U/L. Hasil uji Independent Samples t-tes menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,002 (p <0,05), yang berarti terdapat perbedaan kadar CK-MB yang bermakna antara kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah paparan kebisingan suara dengan intensitas ≥85 dB dapat meningkatkan kadar CK-MB pada Rattus norvegicus, yang mengindikasikan adanya stres fisiologis dan kemungkinan kerusakan ringan pada otot jantung.

Background: This study was conducted in response to the high level of environmental noise exposure, which has the potential to induce physiological stress and adversely affect the cardiovascular system. High-intensity noise exposure may increase cardiac workload, leading to myocardial cell damage, as indicated by elevated levels of Creatine Kinase–Myocardial Band (CK-MB). Objective: This study aimed to determine the difference in CK-MB levels between Rattus norvegicus exposed to noise and those not exposed to noise. Method: This quantitative study employed a true experimental design using a post-test-only control group design. The study sample consisted of 16 male Rattus norvegicus, randomly assigned to a treatment group and a control group. The treatment group was exposed to noise at an intensity of ≥85 dB for 3 hours per day over five consecutive days, whereas the control group received no noise exposure. CK-MB levels were measured using the TMS 50i Superior analyzer. Data were analyzed using the Shapiro–Wilk normality test and the independent-samples t-test. Results: The results showed that the mean CK-MB level in the treatment group was 651.25 U/L, whereas the mean level in the control group was 357.75 U/L. The independent-samples t-test revealed a statistically significant difference between the two groups (p = 0.002), indicating a significant difference in CK-MB levels between the treatment and control groups. Conclusion: The finding is noise exposure at an intensity of ≥85 dB increases CK-MB levels in Rattus norvegicus, indicating physiological stress and possible mild myocardial injury.
