Abstract

Latar belakang : Paparan bahan kimia dari obat anti nyamuk dapat bertindak sebagai stressor lingkungan fisik yang memicu respon stres dan reaksi hipersensitivitas melalui aktivasi sistem imun. Salah satu sel yang berperan penting dalam reaksi alergi adalah basofil. Terapi murotal Al-Qur’an diketahui memiliki efek relaksasi yang berpotensi menurunkan stres sehingga dapat memengaruhi respon imun tubuh. Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi variabilitas sel basofil pada reaksi hipersensitivitas akibat paparan murotal sebagai indikator respon imun. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain True Experimental Design. Sampel penelitian berupa 24 ekor tikus Jantan (Rattus norvegicus) yang dibagi menjadi enam kelompok, yaitu satu kelompok kontrol dan lima kelompok perlakuan. Seluruh kelompok diberikan paparan bahan kimia berupa obat anti nyamuk, sedangkan kelompok perlakuan memperoleh terapi murotal dengan frekuensi yang berbeda. Pemeriksaan jumlah sel basofil dilakukan menggunakan metode flow cytometry pada alat hematology analyzer. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk, uji homogenitas, dan uji Mann-Whitney dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,05. Hasil : Rata – rata persentase basofil pada keolompok kontrol sebesar 0,26% sedangkan pada kelompok perlakuan berturut turut sebesar 0,3%, 0,2%, 0,03%, 0,16% dan 0,1%. Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan data tidak berdistribusi normal(p <0,05), sedangkan uji homogenitas menunjukkan data homogen dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,087 (p >0,05). Hasil uji Mann-Whitney menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,738 p (>0,05), yang mengindikasikan tidak terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna antara kelompok kontrol dan kelompok perlakuan. Kesimpulan : Tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap variabilitas sel basofil sebagai indikator respon imun pada reaksi hipersensitivitas.

Background: Chemical exposure from mosquito repellents can act as a physical environmental stressor, triggering stress responses and hypersensitivity reactions through immune system activation. Basophils play a crucial role in allergic reactions. Murottal (Quranic recitation) therapy is known to have relaxation effects that potentially reduce stress, thereby influencing the body's immune response. Objective: This study aimed to evaluate basophil cell variability in hypersensitivity reactions induced by murottal exposure, using this variability as an indicator of immune response. Methods: This study employed a quantitative approach with a True Experimental Design. The sample consisted of 24 male rats (Rattus norvegicus) divided into six groups: one control group and five treatment groups. All groups were exposed to chemicals from mosquito repellents, while the treatment groups received Murottal therapy at varying frequencies. Basophil cell counts were determined using flow cytometry via a haematology analyser. Data were analysed using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, homogeneity test, and Mann-Whitney test, with a significance level of 0.05. Results: The mean basophil percentage in the control group was 0.26%, while in the treatment groups, the percentages were 0.3%, 0.2%, 0.03%, 0.16%, and 0.1%, respectively. The normality test indicated that the data were not normally distributed (p < 0.05), whereas the homogeneity test showed the data to be homogeneous with a significance value of 0.087 (p > 0.05). The Mann-Whitney test yielded a significance value of 0.738 (p > 0.05), indicating no significant difference between the control group and the treatment groups. Conclusion: It does not exert a significant influence on basophil cell variability as an indicator of immune response in hypersensitivity reactions.
