Abstract
This Study was about figure of speech which were used in Taylor Swift’s song .The writer of this thesis conducted a study about figure of speech because the writer realized that figure of speech consist of beauty. Through this study , the writer of this thesis was excited about the love that was used by Taylor Swift’s song. As we know, Taylor Swift is a song writes and also a singer . She always makes some songs inspired from love. Based on love is a something that common happened by human being. The objective of this research to know kinds of figure of speech that Illustrate about love are used in Taylor Swift’s songs .Analyzing love depicted in Taylor Swift’s songs through figure of speech. The design of this research is a qualitative. Qualitative research methods are designed to help researcher understanding people and the culture context within their life. The result of discussion shows there are many figure of speech which are used on the Taylor Swift ’s songs. Moreover, by using the figure of speech the researcher will get deep meaning and understand about the content of song lyrics. Besides, the result of this research also shows the meanings about love in Taylor Swift’s songs. Finally, the researcher, moreover, would like to suggest for the other researchers that it would be better. Keyword : Figure of Speech , Depicted Love
