t is important to conduct research on the influence of financial performance and dividends on company value because this can help evaluate the company and identify areas for improvement in financial performance to enhance company value. The aim of the research is to analyze the impact of dividends and financial performance on company value. Financial performance is determined using asset ratios, while dividend policy is determined using dividend ratios, and company value is determined by the price relativeto book value. The type of this research is quantitative research that analyzes secondary data derived from financial records. The population studied consists of companies operating in the energy sector. For the sample selection, this research uses the purposive sampling method based on predetermined criteria, which successfully identified 18 energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2022–2023. Data analysis was conducted using the Eviews 12 application. The conclusion drawn from this research indicates that assets and dividend payout levels have a positive impact on the company's value. The limitation of the research lies in the variables that only focus on aspects of financial performance and dividend policy, thus not encompassing all factors that influence the value of the company. The recommendation for future research is to use a broader and more diverse sample of companies to enhance the generalization of the research results.
