Abstract

Background: Digital transformation in healthcare aims to enhance service quality and efficiency.
However, implementation of Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR),
and integrated health information systems still faces various obstacles, including infrastructure
limitations, low digital literacy among healthcare professionals, and data security concerns. Evaluating
the effectiveness of digitalization and its influencing factors is essential.
Objective: This study aims to analyze the impact of digital transformation and information
management on healthcare service efficiency at Hospital B.
Methods: This research employed a quantitative correlational approach using Likert scale
questionnaires. A total of 57 respondents comprising healthcare professionals and management staff
were selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression after
validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests.
Results: The majority of respondents were female (63%), had worked for >10 years (58%), and held
functional positions (62%). Digital transformation did not significantly affect service efficiency (p =
0.432), whereas information management showed a significant impact (p = 0.012). Both variables
explained 19.8% of the variation in service efficiency (R² = 0.198).
Conclusion: Hospitals are advised to prioritize strengthening information management through
human resource capacity building, information system integration, and digital infrastructure
