OPTIMALISASI LEGALITAS DAN PEMANFAATAN ASET WAKAF MUHAMMADIYAH MELALUI PENDATAAN DAN PEMBERKASAN ASET DI KABUPATEN TUBAN

This community engagement program aims to optimize the legality and utilization of Muhammadiyah waqf assets through digital data collection, legal documentation, and training in waqf-based business management. The implementation method consists of four main stages: (1) inventorying waqf assets and developing a digital database system to support accurate and centralized data management; (2) legal assistance in preparing and processing waqf documents, including land certification at the National Land Agency (BPN); (3) training in productive business management that can be developed from waqf assets, such as service enterprises, education, or land utilization; and (4) strengthening marketing capacity through digital marketing strategies. Partner participation is realized through providing field data, engaging in training sessions, and directly managing the outcomes of the program implementation.The expected results of this program include the establishment of a digitalized waqf asset database in Tuban, an increase in the number of waqf assets with legal certification, and the development of competitive waqf-based business units. In addition, this activity contributes to achieving the university’s Key Performance Indicators (KPI), supports the implementation of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) through the involvement of interdisciplinary students, and strengthens community service focus in empowering the economy through religious assets. Thus, strengthening the legality and utilization of Muhammadiyah’s waqf assets not only ensures legal certainty but also opens up opportunities for community economic and social empowerment, enabling waqf to function optimally as a pillar of public welfare.
