Abstract

Tingginya kenakalan remaja saat ini banyak terjadi akibat kurangnya dalam penanaman pendidikan karakter dan pola asuh baik di rumah maupun di luar. Di Indonesia sendiri, banyak sekali kasus kenakalan remaja yang terjadi. Menurut data UNICEF tahun 2016, kenakalan remaja di Indonesia mencapai sekitar 50% dari total penduduk yang memiliki usia remaja keseluruhan. Pondok Pesantren adalah salah tempat untuk penanaman pendidikan karakter dan kemandirian.Tesis ini membahas manajemen pola asuh otoritatif dalam pembentukan karakter kemandirian santri di Pondok Pesantren Darul Hijrah Mojokerto.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan dan menganalisis secara mendalam manajemen pola asuh otoritatif di Pondok Pesantren Darul Hijrah Mojokerto dalam Pembentukan Karakter Kemandrian santri yang berlokasi di dusun Wonokerto Desa Wonodadi Kecamatan Kutorejo Kabupaten Mojokerto.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data dengan ketekunan pengamatan dan triangulasi metode

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan : 1) Gambaran karakter kemandirian santri di Pondok Pesantren Darul Mojokerto, kondisi santri baru yang belum mandiri dan kondisi santri lama yang sudah memiliki kemampuan mengurus diri sendiri, disiplin waktu dan bertanggung jawab.2) Manajemen Pola Asuh Otoritatif dalam pembentukan Karakter Kemandirian Santri dilakukan melalui empat hal yaitu :a) Perencanaan Pola Asuh Otoritatif sudah dilaksanakan dengan baik seperti kurikulum, sarana prasana dan lain-lain. b) Pengorganisasian Pola Asuh Otoritatif sudah dilakukan dengan baik diantaranya dengan membuat struktur dan sistem kerja serta menentukan sdm yang sesuai. c) Pelaksanaan Pola Asuh Otoritatif dengan baik mulai dari pengarahan dan pendampingan yang dilakukan oleh para ustad dan musyrif kepada para santri. d) Pengawasan dan evaluasi Pola Asuh Otoritatif sudah dilaksanakan dengan baik melalui rapat koordinasi maupun pengawasan langsung ke setiap individu.3) Hasil yang diharapkan manajemen pola asuh otoritatif dalam pembentukan karakter kemandirian santri, yaitu : mandiri mengurus diri sendiri, disiplin waktu, bertanggung jawab.

The current high rate of juvenile delinquency is largely due to a lack of character education and parenting practices, both at home and outside the home. In Indonesia, there are numerous cases of juvenile delinquency. According to UNICEF data from 2016, juvenile delinquency in Indonesia reached approximately 50% of the total adolescent population. Islamic boarding schools are an ideal place for character education and independence. This thesis discusses the management of authoritative parenting in the formation of independent character in students at the Darul Hijrah Islamic Boarding School in Mojokerto.

This study aims to describe and analyze in depth the authoritative parenting style at the Darul Hijrah Islamic Boarding School in Mojokerto in developing the independent character of its students, located in Wonokerto Hamlet, Wonodadi Village, Kutorejo District, Mojokerto Regency.

This study is a field study with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis employs an interactive model consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was verified through diligent observation and method triangulation.
The results of this study indicate: 1) A description of the character of the independence of students at the Darul Mojokerto Islamic Boarding School, the condition of new students who are not yet independent and the condition of old students who already have the ability to take care of themselves, discipline time and responsible. 2) Management of Authoritative Parenting Patterns in the formation of the Character of Student Independence is carried out through four things, namely: a) Planning of Authoritative Parenting Patterns has been implemented well such as curriculum, facilities and infrastructure and others. b) Organizing Authoritative Parenting Patterns has been done well including by creating work structures and systems and determining appropriate human resources. c) Implementation of Authoritative Parenting Patterns well starting from direction and mentoring carried out by ustad and musyrif to the students. d) Supervision and evaluation of Authoritative Parenting Patterns have been implemented well through coordination meetings and direct supervision of each individual 3) The expected results of management of authoritative parenting patterns in the formation of independent character of students are: independent self-management, time discipline, responsibility.
