Abstract

Latar belakang: Konstipasi kehamilan adalah kondisi dimana ibu hamil mengalami kesulitan buang feses yang ditandai dengan ketidaknyamanan, mengejan berlebihan, feses keras dan frekuensi kurang dari tiga kali dalam seminggu. Tujuan tugas akhir ini untuk memberikan gambaran asuhan kebidanan continuity of care yang diberikan kepada Ny. H selama masa hamil, persalinan, nifas, hingga bayi baru lahir dengan fokus penanganan konstipasi. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus pada ibu hamil, bersalin, nifas dan bayi baru lahir dengan pendokumentasian menggunakan SOAP. Hasil: Pada kunjungan hamil pertama Ny. H mengeluh susah buang air besar, lima hari yang lalu BAB disertai darah, kemudian diberikan asuhan kebidanan berupa edukasi gizi, peningkatan asupan cairan dan serat, serta aktivitas fisik ringan dan teratur. Saat kunjungan kedua ibu mengatakan sudah mulai BAB 2x dalam seminggu. Saat kunjungan ketiga Ny. H mengatakan sudah mulai BAB 1x sehari. Pada kunjungan berikutnya Ny. H merasakan kenceng-kenceng hilang timbul dari tanggal 2 juni jam 06.00 WIB dilakukan VT didapatkan pembukaan 2cm. Pada masa nifas Ny. H mengatakan keluhan konstipasi selama hamil sudah teratasi dengan baik. Analisis: Konstipasi pada ibu hamil dapat diantisipasi dengan cara pemenuhan nutrisi dan cairan yang seimbang serta aktivitas fisik ringan dan teratur sehingga merangsang gerak peristatik usus, jika ibu sudah mengalami dorongan maka segeralah untuk buang air besar agar tidak terjadi konstipasi. Kesimpulan: Asuhan Kebidanan Continuity of Care yang telah diberikan pada Ny. H berhasil dan efektif dalam mengelola konstipasi pada ibu hamil, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kenyamanan ibu dan menunjang perkembangan janin yang optimal.

Background: Pregnancy constipation is a condition which pregnant women experience difficulty defecating characterized by discomfort, excessive straining, hard stools and a frequency of less than three times a week. The purpose of this final project was to provide an overview of continuity of care
midwifery care provided to Mrs. H during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and newborns with a focus on constipation management. Method: This study used a descriptive research method with a case study approach on pregnant women, childbirth, postpartum and newborns with documentation
using SOAP. Results: At the first pregnancy visit, Mrs. H complained of difficulty defecating and a bowel movement accompanied by blood for five days. Then, she was given midwifery care in the form of nutrition education, increased fluid and fiber intake, and light and regular physical activity. In the second visit the mother said she had started defecating twice a week. The third visit, Mrs. H said she had started defecating once a day. At the next visit, Mrs. H felt intermittent cramps from June 2 at 06.00 WIB (western Indonesian time), a VT was performed and found 2cm dilation. In postpartum period, Mrs. H’s uterus was 2 cm. Mrs. H said that her constipation complaints during pregnancy had been resolved well. Analysis: Constipation in pregnant women can be anticipated by fulfilling balanced nutrition and fluids as well as light and regular physical activity to stimulate intestinal peristatic motion. If the mother experiences the urge, immediately defecate to prevent constipation. Conclusion: As the conclusion Continuity of Care (CoC) provided to Mrs. H was successful and effective in managing constipation in pregnant women, so that it can increase maternal comfort and support optimal fetal development.
