Abstract

Introduction: Postoperative pain can trigger stress and various physical and emotional reactions in mothers; therefore, early mobilization therapy is provided. ERACS and Non-ERACS healing methods are one of the efforts to reduce several complications in postpartum patients, and this action can also reduce pain intensity in post-SC patients. Pain that is not adequately treated can cause a number of physiological and psychological disorders in women undergoing SC. This study descriptively examines the route, type, and dose of analgesic drugs administered in ERACS and Non-ERACS methods. Methods: The research design used is descriptive, involving 200 patients, with 100 patients in the ERACS method and 100 patients in the Non-ERACS method. Then it was analyzed descriptively regarding the type, amount, dose, route of administration, duration of analgesic administration, along with the pain scale of each ERACS and Non-ERACS method. Results: In the patient group receiving the Non-ERACS method, it was found that all patients (100%) were given analgesics in the form of Ketorolac 10 mg and Mefenamic Acid 500 mg via oral route, with a duration of action of Ketorolac 1–5 minutes and Mefenamic Acid 500 mg 1–5 minutes, with a pain scale of 3–4. In the ERACS method, the NSAID used, Ketorolac, was given via IV route, 30 mg with a drug administration duration of 1–5 minutes. For the analgesic Mefenamic Acid 500 mg, it was given orally with a drug administration duration of 1–5 minutes. The opioid Anatram (Tramadol 37.5 mg + PCT 325 mg) was given orally with a duration of 1–5 minutes. With a percentage of 33.3% each from a total of 100 respondents, the pain scale obtained was 1–2.
