Abstract
Latar Belakang: Glukosa darah merupakan sumber energi utama tubuh, namun metabolisme yang tidak terkontrol dapat mengganggu homeostasis tubuh hingga merusak sistem kardiovaskular dan ginjal. Latihan eksentrik berfungsi menjaga stabilitas glukosa melalui mekanisme pemanjangan otot. Senam Sabar Indonesia (SSI) merupakan bentuk latihan fungsional dengan karakteristik gerakan utama berbasis kontraksi eksentrik. Tujuan Penelitian: Mengetahui pengaruh latihan eksentrik dengan SSI terhadap perubahan kadar glukosa darah individu sehat. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian one group pretest-posttest design dengan Generalized Linear Model Repeated Measure (GLM-RM) yang melibatkan 10 individu sehat yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Intervensi latihan eksentrik dengan SSI dilakukan selama 3 minggu dengan frekuensi 3 kali per minggu yang terdiri dari 4 gerakan yaitu The Grounding Stance, Single Arm Reach, Double Arm Flow with Wrist Rotation dan Vertical Reach. Pengukuran kadar glukosa menggunakan alat glukometer digital. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan untuk uji normalitas menggunakan Shapiro-Wilk dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji Friedman. Hasil: Hasil analisa data menggunakan uji deskriptif menunjukkan adanya dinamika penurunan pada nilai rerata kadar glukosa darah responden secara bertahap dari kondisi awal pretest sebesar 94,70 mg/dL menjadi 89,10 mg/dL pada post hari ke-1 (H1), 85,40 mg/dL pada post hari ke-3 (H3), 82,20 mg/dL pada post hari ke-6 (H6), dan mencapai 80,70 mg/dL pada post hari ke-9 (H9). Meskipun secara klinis terdapat tren penurunan konsisten, uji Friedman menghasilkan nilai signifikansi p = 0,265 (p > 0,05). Secara statistik, hal ini menandakan intervensi latihan eksentrik dengan SSI tidak memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap kadar glukosa darah individu sehat di setiap fasenya. Kesimpulan: Tidak ada pengaruh latihan eksentrik dengan SSI terhadap perubahan kadar glukosa darah pada individu sehat.

Background: Blood glucose is the body’s main energy source, however uncontrolled glucose metabolism may disrupt the body’s homeostasis and lead to damage to the cardiovascular system and kidneys. Eccentric exercise helps maintain glucose stability through muscle lengthening contractions. Senam Sabar Indonesia (SSI) is a form of functional exercise with the main movement characteristics based on eccentric contractions. Research Objective: To determine the effect of eccentric exercise using Senam Sabar Indonesia (SSI) on changes in blood glucose levels among healthy individuals. Research Method: This study employed a one-group pretest-posttest design and analyzed the data using the Generalized Linear Model Repeated Measure (GLM-RM). A total of 10 healthy individuals selected using a purposive sampling technique. The eccentric exercise intervention using SSI was carried out for 3 weeks, with a frequency of 3 sessions per week. Each session consisted of 4 movements, namely The Grounding Stance, Single Arm Reach, Double Arm Flow with Wrist Rotation and Vertical Reach. Blood glucose levels were measured using a digital glucometer. Data analysis technique used for normality testing was the Shapiro-Wilk test and the hypothesis testing was the Friedman test. Results: Data analysis using descriptive tests showed a gradual decrease in the average blood glucose levels of respondents, from an initial pretest value of 94.70 mg/dL to 89.10 mg/dL on post-day 1 (D1), 85.40 mg/dL on post-day 3 (D3), 82.20 mg/dL on post-day 6 (D6), and reaching 80.70 mg/dL on post-day 9 (D9). Although clinically there was a consistent downward trend, the Friedman test yielded a significance value of p = 0.265 (p > 0.05). Statistically, this findings indicate that eccentric exercise intervention using SSI did not significant effect on blood glucose levels in healthy individuals at any stage. Conclusion: Eccentric exercise using Senam Sabar Indonesia (SSI) had no significant effect on changes in blood glucoe levels among healthy individuals.
