Abstract

ABSTRAK
Peningkatan arus kontainer yang signifikan menjadi tantangan besar terhadap efisiensi operasional terminal peti kemas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memproyeksikan kapasitas lapangan penumpukan pada masa depan guna mengantisipasi kepadatan yang berpotensi menghambat produktifitas pelabuhan. Metodologi penelitian dilakukan melalui analisis proyeksi pertumbuhan arus kontainer dengan korelasi dan regresi serta dilakukan perhitungan pemanfaatan lapangan petikemas atau Yard Occupancy Ratio (YOR) dalam tiga periode yaitu jangka pendek (2025-2030), jangka menengah (2030-2035), dan jangka panjang (2035-2040). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada jangka pendek, kondisi terminal masih optimal dengan nilai YOR 64,80%. Namun, memasuki jangka menengah dan panjang, terminal diprediksi mengalami kepadatan sangat tinggi dengan YOR mencapai 119,59% pada tahun 2040, yang mengindikasikan ketidakmampuan lahan petikemas dalam menampung arus petikemas. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, dilakukan optimasi melalui peningkatan jumlah tumpukan menjadi 6 tier, yang berhasil menambah kapasitas sebesar 147.168 TEUs per tahun yang sebelumnya hanya mencapai 122.640 TEUs per tahun. Setelah dilakukan optimasi, nilai YOR jangka panjang berhasil ditekan ke angka 83,05% pada tahun 2040 (kategori cukup). Selain itu, analisis kebutuhan alat menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan satu unit reach stacker dengan operasional 24 jam masih mencukupi untuk menangani volume peti kemas hingga tahun 2040 tanpa memerlukan tambahan unit baru.

The significant increase in container traffic poses a major challenge to the operational efficiency of container terminals. This study aims to project future container yard capacity to anticipate congestion that could potentially hamper port productivity. The research methodology is carried out through an analysis of container flow growth projections using correlation and regression, as well as calculating the Yard Occupancy Ratio (YOR) for three periods: the short term (2025-2030), the medium term (2030-2035), and the long term (2035- 2040). The results show that in the short term, terminal conditions are still optimal with a YOR value of 37.41% - 64.80%. However, entering the medium and long term, the terminal is predicted to experience very high congestion with a YOR reaching 119.59% in 2040, which indicates the inability of the container yard to accommodate container traffic. To address this issue, optimization was carried out by increasing the number of stacks to 6 tiers, which successfully increased capacity by 147,168 TEUs per year from the previous 122,640 TEUs per year. After optimization, the long-term YOR value was successfully reduced to 83.05% in 2040 (sufficient category). Furthermore, equipment requirements analysis showed that the use of one reach stacker unit with 24-hour operation is still sufficient to handle container volume until 2040 without the need for additional new units.
