Fungsi, Peran Pelaku Kalimat pada Teks Argumentasi Mahasiswa PBSI UMSurabaya: Kajian Gramatikal

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan distribusi dan fungsi peran pelaku dalam konstruksi kalimat bahasa Indonesia guna memberikan wawasan baru yang mendobrak anggapan umum bahwa peran pelaku hanya terbatas pada fungsi subjek. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan sintaksis yang menitikberatkan pada analisis struktur fungsional kalimat. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini berupa teks argumentasi mahasiswa PBSI yang dikumpulkan melalui teknik dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran pelaku dalam kalimat bahasa Indonesia memiliki fleksibilitas jabatan yang dinamis dan terbagi ke dalam tiga fungsi utama, yaitu sebagai subjek kalimat aktif, predikat pasif persona, dan pelengkap dalam kalimat pasif. Fungsi peran pelaku sebagai subjek ditemukan pada konstruksi aktif yang menempatkan pelaku sebagai penggerak utama tindakan, baik berupa entitas insani maupun noninsani seperti pada kata banyak orang dan penelitian. Fungsi peran pelaku sebagai predikat pasif persona ditandai dengan melekatnya pronomina persona atau nomina pada verba dasar, seperti pada bentuk saya anggap, kita miliki, dan pengguna lindungi. Sementara itu, fungsi peran pelaku sebagai pelengkap muncul dalam konstruksi pasif berimbuhan di- yang memosisikan pelaku setelah predikat untuk melengkapi informasi tanpa mengaburkan sumber tindakan, seperti pada frasa orang tua, semua pihak, dan seluruh lapisan masyarakat. Keberagaman posisi ini membuktikan bahwa penempatan peran pelaku berfungsi sebagai strategi untuk mengatur fokus informasi dan menjaga kelogisan sebuah pernyataan. Pemahaman terhadap distribusi peran pelaku ini membantu pembaca dalam memahami hubungan antara aktor dan tindakan dalam sebuah konstruksi kalimat yang utuh serta memperluas perspektif teoretis mengenai fleksibilitas sintaksis bahasa Indonesia.

This research aims to explain the distribution and function of the role of actors in the construction of Indonesian sentences in order to provide new insights that break the general assumption that the role of actors is only limited to the function of the subject. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a syntactic approach that focuses on the analysis of the functional structure of sentences. The source of data in this study is in the form of PBSI students' argumentative texts collected through documentation techniques. The results of the study show that the role of the perpetrator in Indonesian sentences has dynamic position flexibility and is divided into three main functions, namely as the subject of active sentences, the passive predicate of persona, and complements in passive sentences. The function of the role of the perpetrator as a subject is found in the active construction that places the perpetrator as the main driver of action, both in the form of human and non-human entities as said by many people and research. The function of the actor's role as a passive predicate of persona is characterized by the attachment of persona pronouns or nouns to basic verbs, as in the form I assume, we have, and the user protects. Meanwhile, the function of the role of the perpetrator as a complement appears in the passive construct with the suffix in- which positions the perpetrator after the predicate to complete the information without obscuring the source of the action, such as in the phrase parents, all parties, and all levels of society. This diversity of positions proves that the placement of the role of the actor serves as a strategy to regulate the focus of information and maintain the logic of a statement. This understanding of the distribution of the role of actors helps the reader to understand the relationship between actors and actions in a complete sentence construction and expand the theoretical perspective on the syntactic flexibility of the Indonesian language.
