Background: Elderly people have physical, psychological, and social limitations, putting them at greater risk of experiencing the impacts of a Mount Semeru eruption. Resilience is key for older adults in adapting and recovering from stressful situations. One influencing factor is social support. Methods: This study aims to analyze the relationship between social support and resilience among older adults in facing the threat of a Mount Semeru eruption at the Kartini Elderly Community Health Post (Posyandu Lansia Kartini) in Supiturang Village, Pronojiwo District, Lumajang Regency. The study employed a correlational analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. The study sample consisted of 44 elderly people selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected using the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) and the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CDRISC) questionnaires, then analyzed using the Gamma correlation test. Results: Most respondents reported high social support (61%) and high resilience (77%). The results showed a p-value of 0.019 (<0.05) and a correlation coefficient of r = 0.744, indicating a moderate correlation. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship
between social support and resilience in the elderly in facing the threat of a Mount Semeru eruption.
