Hubungan Kadar SGPT dan Kadar Trombosit pada Pasien Hepatitis B di RSUD Haji Provinsi Jawa Timur

Hepatitis B merupakan penyakit infeksi hati yang disebabkan oleh Virus Hepatitis B (VHB) dan masih menjadi masalah kesehatan di Indonesia. Infeksi VHB menyebabkan kerusakan hepatosit sehingga enzim Serum Glutamic Pyruvic Transaminase (SGPT) dilepaskan ke dalam sirkulasi darah. Kerusakan hati juga dapat menurunkan produksi trombopoietin (TPO) yang berperan dalam pembentukan trombosit. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan kadar SGPT dan kadar trombosit pada pasien Hepatitis B di RSUD Haji Provinsi Jawa Timur. Penelitian menggunakan desain observasional analitik terhadap data sekunder Laboratorium Patologi Klinik RSUD Haji Provinsi Jawa Timur periode Oktober 2025–Maret 2026. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 50 pasien Hepatitis B. Analisis hubungan dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar -0,108 dengan nilai signifikansi (p) sebesar 0,454 (p>0,05). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kadar SGPT dengan kadar trombosit pada pasien Hepatitis B. Nilai koefisien korelasi yang negatif menunjukkan arah hubungan yang berlawanan dengan kekuatan korelasi yang sangat lemah. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa kadar SGPT dan jumlah trombosit tidak selalu berubah secara bersamaan pada pasien Hepatitis B. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kadar SGPT tidak berhubungan secara bermakna dengan kadar trombosit pada pasien Hepatitis B di RSUD Haji Provinsi Jawa Timur.

Hepatitis B is a liver infection caused by the Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) and remains a health problem in Indonesia. HBV infection causes hepatocyte damage, resulting in the release of the enzyme Serum Glutamic Pyruvic Transaminase (SGPT) into the bloodstream. Liver damage can also reduce thrombopoietin (TPO) production, which plays a role in platelet formation. This study aimed to determine the relationship between SGPT levels and platelet counts in Hepatitis B patients at Haji Hospital, East Java Province. The study used an observational analytical design based on secondary data from the Clinical Pathology Laboratory of the Haji Regional General Hospital, East Java Province, from October 2025 to March 2026. The sample consisted of 50 Hepatitis B patients. The correlation analysis was performed using the Spearman correlation test. The results showed a correlation coefficient (r) of -0.108 with a significance value (p) of 0.454 (p>0.05). These results indicate no significant relationship between SGPT levels and platelet counts in Hepatitis B patients. A negative correlation coefficient indicates a negative relationship with a very weak correlation. These results indicated that SGPT levels and platelet counts do not always change in parallel in patients with Hepatitis B. This study concluded that SGPT levels are not significantly associated with platelet counts among Hepatitis B patients at the Haji Regional General Hospital in East Java Province.
