Pembelajaran Menulis Cerpen dengan Pemanfaatan Media Instagram Carousel pada Siswa Kelas X SMA Al Fattah Sidoarjo Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses, hasil dan respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada materi praktik menulis cerpen dengan memanfaatkan media sosial instagram carousel. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif jenis deskriptif. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah guru pengampu mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia beserta 26 siswa kelas X di SMA Al Fattah Sidoarjo. Teknik pengumpulan data didapatkan langsung oleh hasil observasi proses pembelajaran, tes produk karya tulis cerpen siswa serta angket respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran menulis cerpen dengan pemanfaatan media sosial Instagram carousel. Tahapan guru mengajar dikelas serta respon siswa selama proses pembelajaran menulis cerpen dengan memanfatkan media Instagram carousel berlangsung diamati serta dicatat sebagai data penelitian. Hasil karya tulis siswa yang diuanggah pada akun media sosial instagram carousel yang dimiliki siswa sebagai hasil tes produk. Pengisisan angket juga dilakukan guna mendapatkan informasi respon siswa selama proses pembelajaran menulis cerpen. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa hasil observasi, hasil tes produk dan lembar angket. Data dianalisis melalui tahapan mengumpulkan, mereduksi, menyajikan serta menyimpulkan data. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa pemanfaatan media sosial instagram pada pembelajaran menulis cerpen berkategori “sangat baik”. Hal itu dikuatkan oleh (1) Hasil observasi kegiatan guru saat melaksanakan sintaks pada proses mengajar mendapatkan nilai 93,75 yang berarti “sangat baik”. (2) Hasil tes produk diperoleh nilai siswa paling tinggi 100 dan nilai terendah 75 berdasarkan poin logis, kritis dan kreativitas menulis teks, Dari hasil penilaian tersebut, proses pembelajaran menulis cerita pendek siswa menggunakan media sosial Instagram carousel memperoleh rerata hasil 89,07 yang berkategori “sangat baik”. (3) Siswa juga memberikan respon positif terhadap penggunaan instagram carousel sebagai media pembelajaran menulis cerpen.

This study aimed to describe the process, results, and student responses to learning the Indonesian language in the context of short story writing practice using the Carousel Instagram social media. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach. Respondents of this research were the Indonesian language teacher and 26 10th grade students at SMA Al Fattah Sidoarjo. Data collection techniques were obtained directly from observations of the learning process, tests of students’ short story writing products, and questionnaires regarding student responses to learning to write short stories using the Carousel Instagram social media platform. The teacher’s teaching stages in class and students’ responses during the learning process of writing short stories by utilizing Instagram carousel media were observed and recorded as research data. The results of students’ written work were uploaded to the Carousel Instagram social media account owned by the students as product test results. Questionnaires were also filled out to obtain information on the students’ responses during the learning process of writing short stories. Data collection instruments were in the form of observation results, product test results, and questionnaire sheets. Data were analyzed through the stages of collecting, reducing, presenting, and concluding data. This study proves that the use of Instagram social media in learning to write short stories is categorized as “very good”. This is strengthened by (1) The results of observations of teacher activities when implementing syntax in the teaching process obtained a score of 93.75, which means “very good”, (2) The results of the product test obtained the highest student score of 100 and the lowest score of 75 based on logical, critical and creative points in writing texts. From the results of these assessments, the learning process of writing short stories for students using Carousel Instagram social media obtained an average result of 89.07 which is categorized as “very good”, and (3) The students also responded positively to the use of Carousel Instagram as a learning medium for short story writing.
